イートン２日目を迎えました。

長旅の疲れをものともせず，元気にすごせているようです。

★Yesterday, we arrived at London Heathrow Airport. It took about 14 hours to fly from Tokyo to London. The UK is cooler than Japan.
Eton is near London Heathrow Airport, so many planes were always flying overhead.
First, we played traditional sports on Eton College’s playground. It was bigger than I thought.
Second, we walked around Eton. Eton has many traditional buildings. Especially, Eton School Yard is very cool. It is amazing because it is not something you can find in Japan.
Finally, tomorrow we are going to Stonehenge, so I’m looking forward to it.

★The Eton orientation was very interesting. My favorite part was seeing the bronze statue of King Henry VI at Eton College.
What impressed me most was that there were many names and messages carved on the wall by the gate. We were also allowed to take pictures in places where people normally cannot take pictures.
During the traditional British sports activities, I felt that our friendships became stronger. My favorite game was similar to soccer, but we used a Frisbee instead of a ball. We called our teammates’ names while playing, so I think it helped us become closer.（Sakamoto）

★Today is my first day studying at Eton College.
I was very nervous because everything was new to me. I will write about what happened today.
Eton College is very beautiful.
For breakfast, I had potato waffles, eggs, bread, cereal, and coffee.
For lunch, I had bangers and mash. The bangers were large Vienna sausages. They were delicious.
For dinner, I had fried turkey, fried potatoes, and sweet corn. The meals at Eton were very delicious.
The English quiz was difficult for me, but the result wasn’t bad.
After lunch, I played traditional British games and sports. They were very interesting. My favorite game was called SPLAT.
Later, I had an orientation about Stonehenge. Stonehenge is huge and beautiful. Learning about its history was very exciting to me.
I’m so happy. I had a lot of fun today.
